Ancient City, also known as Muang Boran, is an open-air museum located near Bangkok, Thailand. It is one of the largest outdoor museums in the world, designed to represent the history, culture, and architecture of Thailand in a single expansive landscape. The site features over a hundred reconstructions and replicas of Thailand’s most significant monuments, palaces, temples, and historical sites from different eras. Some structures are full-scale reproductions, while others are creatively reimagined to reflect their original form and spiritual meaning. Visitors can explore the grounds by walking, cycling, or driving, experiencing Thailand’s regional diversity, traditional craftsmanship, and historical narratives in a serene, park-like setting.
