Day 01 | Bangkok – Surabaya – Bromo Area

Begin your journey with a flight from Bangkok to Surabaya, Indonesia. Upon arrival in the afternoon (between 13:00 PM and 15:00 PM), meet our friendly driver at the airport exit gate. Enjoy a lunch stop along the way (not included) before traveling to the Bromo area. Check in to your hotel located near Mount Bromo and relax for the night, surrounded by cool mountain air.

Day 02 | Mount Bromo Sunrise & Madakaripura Waterfall

Wake up early (2:30–3:30 AM) for an exciting sunrise adventure. Travel by jeep up the mountain and enjoy coffee and light snacks while waiting for sunrise. Walk to the viewpoint between 4:00–6:00 AM to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Bromo and capture unforgettable photos.

Continue the journey by jeep down to the sea of sand, stopping for iconic jeep photos. Ascend to the famous “Breath of the Gods,” including a round-trip horseback ride (Not included). By 10:00 AM, return to the hotel for breakfast, pack up, and head to the stunning Madakaripura Waterfall.

Day 03 | Semeru & Tumpak Waterfall

Check out early at 5:00 AM and continue your journey. Arrive at Mount Semeru—often called Indonesia’s Mount Fuji—between 7:00 and 8:00 AM. Enjoy breakfast with a provided food box and take time to admire the majestic scenery. Afterward, continue to the beautiful Tumpak Waterfall, known for its dramatic cascades and lush surroundings.

Day 04 | Kawah Ijen – Blue Fire Experience

An early start is essential today. Depart between 12:00 AM and 2:00 AM for Mount Ijen to witness the rare and famous blue fire phenomenon (arrival before sunrise is a must). Explore the crater and enjoy the unique volcanic landscape. Around 9:00 AM, descend from Mt. Ijen and return to Surabaya.

Day 05 | Surabaya – Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward journey, marking the end of an incredible East Java adventure.

Notes
• Early wake-up is required on most days.
• Toilet usage fee: 3,000–5,000 IDR.
• The weather at Mount Bromo is quite cold. Please bring a coat, gloves, and a winter hat, or you may rent or purchase them at shops near Mount Bromo.
• As there is a lot of walking up and down the mountains, participants should be in good health and physically fit.
• Passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the planned departure date.
