Nongnooch Pattaya Garden — often called Nong Nooch Tropical Garden — is one of Thailand’s most famous and extensive botanical parks, located about 20–25 km south of Pattaya in the Na Chom Thian area of Chonburi Province. It’s widely regarded as one of the largest and most beautiful tropical gardens in Southeast Asia, covering roughly 500–600 acres of landscaped grounds filled with exotic plant collections and themed garden areas.
Nong Nooch started as private land intended for fruit orchards before being transformed into a tropical botanical garden and opened to the public in 1980. Today, it combines horticulture, culture, entertainment, and leisure into a single destination suitable for nature lovers, families, photographers, and anyone looking for a scenic day out.
Garden Highlights
The garden is divided into many themed landscapes — each with its own unique style and plant collections:

Shows & Activities
More than just gardens, the park offers daily cultural performances (Thai dance, martial arts, traditional music) as well as elephant shows, which are major crowd-pleasers. There are also options like feeding fish in the lakes, tram or sightseeing bus rides around the expansive property, and opportunities to learn about Thai crafts or take part in workshops.
